Music Programs with Mission:
To foster connection through music.
We provide programming, instruments, lessons, and performance opportunities to people of all ages with limited access. We believe music has the power to transform lives both internally and collectively, enriching our community.
“It gave him genuine confidence.”
Each accomplishment he’d make playing not only boosted his confidence in playing guitar, but also in his daily life. I saw a shy kid learn to open up and become more comfortable in personal and social settings. Now, when I see him during a performance I am blown away by how comfortable he looks and feels on stage.

Free Music Lessons —
Our scholarship program opens musical doors for passionate learners of all ages. Through a simple application process, we provide financial support for private lessons to motivated students who demonstrate commitment and need. Beyond instruction, scholars join our vibrant community with performance opportunities at foundation events, and may even receive an instrument to begin their musical journey.
School Based Programs —
We bridge music access gaps by partnering directly with schools and organizations serving students with limited opportunities. Our experienced teachers bring more than just music lessons—they foster emotional wellbeing, build confidence, and develop crucial life skills through weekly instruction.
We are currently nurturing musical growth at New Horizon School in Santa Rosa and Journey Academy in Sebastopol.
Community Programs —
From our Friday Preschool Music Class in Petaluma to student showcases at Hopmonk Tavern, we create unique spaces through our community concerts, workshops, and performances throughout Sonoma County, weaving musical experiences that invite everyone into the transformative power of creating and sharing sound.
“I’m forever grateful.”
Nikhil was emotionally traumatized by the fire but his love for music helped him cope. We lost our house in the Santa Rosa Fire and Play It Forward was able to give my son a scholarship for drum lessons.
